PICKING UP THE PIECES TO ACHIEVE DREAMS OF SUCCESS
When Lifestyles came along we recognized we now had in our hands the vehicle to achieve our dreams and lofty goals which we had hoped to achieve with our China retail business before it failed.
Just 48 hours after getting started, we had retailed some product, sponsored our first Direct Distributor and, by working just a few hours part-time, made the equivalent of nearly $600 US. Within our first 28 days in the business, our new home-based business had wholesale over $9,000 and retailed more than $3,000 of Lifestyles products.
We couldn't believe it! In just a few weeks, we'd earned thousands of pounds part-time, became Regional Directors and won an all expenses paid weekend away. What a change from our failing china business! In Lifestyles we had found the ideal business, one with no rent, no rates, no staff and no expensive bank loans. Finally we had a real chance to earn some money and keep it!
We made ourselves a promise as brand new Regional Directors that we were going to become Global Marketing Directors. We were committed, we had shut the opportunity door behind us and the journey to GMD had begun with that first step.
We took another giant leap on that journey when we were recently promoted to the elite level of International Marketing Director, becoming the latest in a growing number of IMDs in the United Kingdom and Ireland.
It has truly been an incredible last few years on our way to IMD. Sometimes the route plan along the way may have changed but our final destination has always remained the same. Achieving Regional, Executive, NMD and now IMD have been big milestones along the way to our ultimate goal of GMD, which is now in sight. When we joined Lifestyles many people we knew said our dreams were too big. But guess what - today our bank balance is quickly catching up with those dreams!
We are currently averaging the equivalent of about $15,000 a month from our Lifestyles business and have always been committed to working with our downline to ensure their success because we know that only with them by our sides have we truly reached the top!"

"Our business was on the verge of going bust and we were about to lose our home when I saw an ad in the paper that said 'Make money from home and lose weight."
"Ruth was always looking at new diets," says Sid. "So when she saw a diet plan that involved eating cookies, I knew she couldn't resist."

My most memorable moment in Lifestyles was going Global. I remember going to Head Office to pick up our first cheque as GMDs. We were literally shaking with disbelief.
Even though Lifestyles has allowed us to travel the world - including more than 40 cruises - and to buy a few luxuries such as our new Mercedes, we get the most pleasure from being able to help our children and grandchildren. We believe very much in the importance of family.
I eat and sleep Lifestyles! At 68 I don't want to retire. They'll have to drag me away from this business."

TURNING SUCCESS IN TRADITIONAL BUSINESS INTO A JOURNEY TOWARDS FREEDOM WITH LIFESTYLES
Jack and Colleen St. Arnaud are living proof that network marketing can create incredible wealth from a part-time business.
Six years ago the Edmonton, Alberta couple was looking for a second business that would help ease the burden of operating their 2,000 acre cattle ranch and free up more time to spend with their children. When they came upon the Lifestyles Opportunity they knew their search for freedom was over.
"We were busy and successful as far as our farming business went but what was lacking in our lives was time freedom because our business owned us more than we owned it," Jack recalls. "Network marketing intrigued us because we saw a way to build a second business which could generate a permanent income, gain more time freedom, travel the world, develop new skills and ultimately realize our goal of owning our farm."
While initially hoping to earn an extra $5,000-10,000 a month to hire quality staff for their farming operations, Jack and Colleen soon found that their Lifestyles business was far more rewarding than they had ever imagined. They became Executive Directors within their first month with Lifestyles back in 1992 and decided to set their next goal of achieving National Marketing Director status.
Just six years later, Jack and Colleen have risen to the pinnacle of the Lifestyles Marketing Plan, achieving the rank of Global Marketing Director and becoming two of Lifestyles top earners worldwide, averaging more than $300,000 a year. The amazing thing is that all of the couple's achievements have been accomplished while continuing to operate their traditional business.
Today, the St. Arnauds' Lifestyles business is more lucrative than their large family farm which is in its third generation. Their Lifestyles business, however, took just a few years of sharing some incredible products and the business opportunity of a lifetime.
"The major key is the way we looked at it," says Jack. "We knew what we wanted in five years. Had we done nothing six years ago we would have nothing different today. Because we diversified into network marketing our lives have totally changed and we have the nice things that were once a dream simply because we set our long-term goals. "

FROM THE DEPTHS OF DESPAIR TO THE HEIGHT OF SUCCESS
Irene Tidball says she had nowhere to go but up.
After many years in the retail trade, working for little or no profit, borrowing money to keep the business afloat and coping with the loss of her husband, Irene was in dire straits.
"I had no money and no home. The only way up for me was to look at an alternative to traditional business and I chose network marketing."
Irene joined a well-established company and devoted four and a half years working that system before moving on to other ventures. Eventually she was introduced to Lifestyles.
"When I saw Lifestyles I knew my luck had changed. Two weeks into the business I earned the equivalent of almost $600 US but even though the money was important, it was the potential of the business opportunity that really opened my eyes."
Wanting to share her excitement with her family, Irene showed the business to her son Michael and his wife Sharon.
"They had experienced as much trauma as I had and we have always been a very close family. If we stuck together during the bad times, I was going to make sure we were together during the good times as well."
Today, not only have Michael and Sharon become National Marketing Directors, so too has Irene, who joined the ranks of Lifestyles leaders in the United Kingdom earlier this year. Although she is enjoying a vastly improved quality of life with Lifestyles, earning the equivalent of about $80,000 a year, Irene is looking forward to reaching even greater heights.
"I will always be thankful that Lifestyles was there when I was looking for a new direction in life. It has certainly changed ours."

Single mother overcomes adversity to earn millions!!
In 1988, Lily Ho moved to Canada from Hong Kong, where her husband ran a flourishing garment business while Lily took care of their home and two children.
"My husband was an honest and persistent man who always planned ahead," Lily recalls fondly. "He worked very hard, running the business and turning a profit to make a better life for our family."
Her family's world would soon be shattered, however, when Lily's husband passed away in 1992.
"I lived in grief for a very long time. My health was fine but very often I couldn't sleep at night. I was miserable. Nevertheless, I began to count myself lucky to have had such a loving, competent husband and that I still had an adorable son and daughter. Together with the kids, I started to understand that we should treasure what we still own and start to rebuild our lives."
With her partner in life gone, Lily found herself alone in dealing with all the responsibilities of both business and family. Although she had been left with enough money to take care of herself and the kids, Lily felt it wise to let the investments grow. So she picked up where her husband left off and began her own cleaning business. In 1995 she was introduced to network marketing and Lifestyles.
"At first I wasn't interested in either the products or the business. But I bought a bottle of intra simply because I did not want my friend to be disappointed. To my surprise, I found the product to be really good and decided to try the business."
So with her shy smile and caring personality, Lily began coming out of her shell more and more every day. And as her distributor network blossomed, so did its scope. Lily not only had a substantial business in Canada, but her Hong Kong downline began to explode. Along with her sponsor, fellow Global Marketing Director Kitty Leung, Lily was building a vast and dynamic group of distributors that would ultimately lead to the opening of Lifestyles Asia Pacific. But what is it about this petite, friendly lady that can create such tremendous momentum? Whatever the secret to her success may be, it has propelled Lily to the top of the Lifestyles ladder and to millionaire status.

CAME TUMBLING RIGHT OUT OF THEIR IVORY TOWER OF BRICKS AND MORTAR, into a world of residual income and more free time.
Picture This: Toronto, Canada: Real Estate Industry Leader; Buildings built with bricks and mortar - real estate was something you could count on! But then, in the early 90's, with a huff and a puff, the economy blew the buildings down - way down! No-one was building any more, and no-one was buying the buildings that were there. For Max & Sandy Klein, the expression "It hit us like a ton of bricks" was all too real!
Max was well known in the commercial and industrial real estate market. Winning awards and living the good life - though the days were long and stress was high. But, when his income dropped 50% and more, they had problems.
"We had just bought a summer cottage on a lake, a new boat, and a new Mercedes - all the things that a successful real estate agent would have - Now we needed the income to keep them. We were in serious financial trouble."
Max and Sandy felt their marketability was limited. What could they possibly do, that would afford them the lifestyle they knew and enjoyed. They didn't want to be forced into selling their new cottage, their new boat, or their family home. They wanted to work less, and live more - before age and health would begin to put restraints on them.
"We both have always been health conscious and believe that things happen for reasons that we cannot always explain. If the real estate market would not have taken a plunge, Max would have worked longer hours, harder hours & we would have spent less time together enjoying our future years. We were introduced to Lifestyles fibre cookies - and Intra. We tried the products, loved them and saw improvements in our own health. There really was nothing to think about! We had to do something drastic and a high powered real estate marketer selling cookies and juice was about as drastic as you could get."
Prior to marrying Max, Sandy had always been in business for herself. When they discussed this new idea of getting out of the traditional business world, they realized that they would be their own boss, set their own hours, plan their own success, and chart their own course. They decided that Lifestyles was worth further investigation.
"We went to hear about the products offered and about how you could make money, by telling others about it. - We enjoyed the benefits of the products, but more importantly, we needed the income."
